This feature is available with Winner Bizz 12.0L version. |
This functionality is especially beneficial for business-to-business (B2B) projects, where managing outstanding amount limits is vital to maintaining financial stability and ensuring smooth operational processes.
This module is designed to assist in managing customer credit limits effectively, thereby helping to control financial exposure across various projects. This feature is implemented to prevent customers from accumulating excessively large outstanding balances, thereby reducing financial risk and promoting healthier cash flow management within the organisation.
Users will now have the capability to establish a maximum outstanding amount for all customers collectively, ensuring a consistent credit control policy. Additionally, it offers the flexibility to personalise these credit limits on a per-customer basis, allowing for tailored financial arrangements that suit individual customer profiles and risk assessments.
While the system will permit users to create quotations even if a customer's credit limit has been reached, it will restrict the ability to proceed with sales contracts under such circumstances.
This new feature includes:
- A default credit limit for all customers.
This can be managed in Sales > Sales Settings > Sales settings tab
Tick the box Control customer credit amount to activate the functionality.
- The ability to define a specific credit limit per customer.
This can be defined in Contact > Select a contact > Settings.
Note: the default credit limit settings needs to be activated first.
This can be useful to make a larger credit limit for business partner.
To control this new setting, users will have to be granted with the user access right Edit customer credit amount. More details about user access roles can be found in this article: Description of user role access rights.
- Automatic calculation of each customer's current financial commitment.
When proposing a contract to a customer, Winner Bizz will automatically calculate if the limit is reached or not. Winner Bizz will then warn the user of the amount available for the customer. If the limit has been reached, a warning message will informe the user, preventing the user to proceed with the sales contract.
