Introduction

To navigate to the storage management, please click ‘Logistics' > 'Storage management’.

In this view, you can maintain all your stocked items either in a warehouse storage or in your showroom.

Before explaining how to register stocked items, we want to give you some details about the stocked item structure. We register the items main information like supplier, item code, description and its properties, if needed.

You can register storage and condition information per item. This gives you the opportunity to handle deviating purchase and sales prices or you can define multiple storage locations for one stocked item.

If you look at the picture above, you may notice that the stocked item has two conditions. The first condition (green) is the condition for the sales people to use. It is stored in the warehouse, has a quantity of ‘5’ and purchase and sales price. The second condition is the same item, but it is located in the showroom. It has a different purchase price and a quantity of ‘1’. The special information is that this condition is marked as ‘Not for sale’. This showroom condition is not available for your sales people. As soon as you want to sell this item, all you have to do is to change the ‘Not for sale’ flag.
