How to restore a design version

In Winner Bizz, users can restore the previous version of a design.

• Restore a saved design (Cloud users only)
• Restore an unregistered design (manual restoration)

Restore a saved design (Cloud users only)

To choose the previous design version the user wishes to restore:

1. Select Sales > Projects.
   
   
2. Right-click on the design the user wishes to restore and select Additional functions > Restore design version:
   
   
   
   
3. Choose which version the user wishes to restore.
   
   
   Note: A preview of the design is shown in the bottom right corner of the window.
   
   
4. Approve the change by clicking Select.

Winner Design will then open with the selected design. The overwritten version of the design is also saved and can be retrieved as well.

Note: If the contract has already been printed, this will be considered as contract change. It means that the user will have to print an amendment.

Manual restoration

In the case where your alternative where not correctly saved, it is possible to manually restore the previous design version. 

A backup copy is available in the folder C:\Users\user_pc\AppData\LocalWinnerBizz\DRWBackups when the design is modified and registered by the user.

Every design is identified with a database specific number (1) and the date and time of the modification (2). It is important to know the date of the last design update to identify the correct backup file.

Note: In the case of opening multiple designs simultaneously, it is possible to have several existing records for the same period but with a different internal number. It is then up to the user to import one or other of the .DRW files to identify which one is the corresponding one.

Once your backup file identified, you can import the .DRW file in Winner Bizz by selecting the alternative > Additional functions > Import > Design file (.DRW) as new alternative.
