Open a project with a technical adaptation

In Winner Bizz, users might need to make modifications to a project using technical adaptations to inform a supplier of a last-minute modification or authorise an item replacement from a supplier. Technical modifications do not affect the sales contract until they are accepted in the sales module by a salesperson.

Technical adaptions in progress

If a salesperson opens the project after a technical adaptation has been made, three options are available: 

• Yes: Apply the changes to the alternative, which will affect the sales contract and might modify the prices and sales margin.
  • Effect: This action will generate a Modified sales contract for the client and include the latest modifications. The design will be updated, which can be useful, for example, if user needs to send it to a work actor or if the client requires an updated design print.
    
    
• No: Will ignore the technical adaptations. User will be able to bring modifications to the design. These modifications will erase and replace the technical adaptations. 
  • Effect: User can then bring other modifications based on the original design, prior the technical adaptations modifications. The modifications done will replace and erase the technical adaptation’s. User will then generate a Modified sales contract and an updated design.
    
    
• No (Read only): Will open the design component in read only mode and block the possibility to modify the design.
  • Effect: This option allow user to consult the original design, without the changes brought by the technical adaptations. This will keep the technical adaptations implemented and won't generate a Modified sales contract.
