In Winner Bizz, users can modify the VAT profile configuration for quotations for new projects and existing projects. This can be useful when the VAT profile in your country is changing, and you need to create a quotation with a new VAT profile.
This article will go through:
- the VAT profiles configuration
- updating the VAT profile configuration at project level
- updating the VAT profile configuration at alternative level
VAT profiles configuration
The different VAT profiles can be found in Others > Application settings > Application settings under the VAT tab.
To create a new VAT profile, select an existing one and click on Duplicate. Then, click on your new VAT profile and edit it.
In this window you can:
- Edit the name.
- Set the selected VAT profile as the default for the country and language selected.
Note: checking the Default profile for this country and language box will affect all future projects. - Choose the type of VAT between Local, Export or Intra-EU.
- Define the VAT values for each item group.
Updating the VAT profile configuration at project level
You can choose to modify the VAT profile directly at the project level. In your project list, select your project. Right click and select Properties, or click Properties at the right-hand side of the window.
In the Project properties window, under the Terms tab, select your VAT profile with the Default VAT profile drop-down menu. Click Save.
The quotation will now be updated with the new VAT profile.
Note: If you do not remember the name of your VAT profile, you can click on the ... icon to open the VAT profile list.
Note! Changing the VAT profile does not affect quotations and sales contract already issued. You will need to issue an amendment with the new VAT profile.
If a quotation or sales contract already exists, the Modification of sales contract in progress window will appear. Select the required options, and then click OK.
Updating the VAT profile configuration at alternative level
In your project list, select your alternative. Right click and select Properties, or click Properties on the right-hand side of the window.
Tip: If your option is opened in Winner Design, click located at bottom left of the window and select Alternative properties.
Under the tab Conditions, select your desired profile from the VAT profile drop-down list. Click Save.
The quotation will now be updated with the new VAT profile.
Note: If you do not remember the name of your VAT profile, you can click the ... icon to open the VAT profile list.

If a quotation or sales contract already exists, the Modification of sales contract in progress window will appear. Select the required options, and then click OK.
