Properties
Properties can be set on different levels: project level, alternative level and design level.
Project properties
Find below the possible settings:
Tab Information
- Set a start- and end-date for the whole project. This is just information and has no function, the dates will not appear even on printouts.
- Define a type for the project: this field will appear on the reports and allows flexible use, for example, it can differentiate projects between new constructions or reconstructions from others. Within reports module, these self-defined project types can be filtered.
- All other settings are as in Winner Design.
Tab Contacts
- Project Owner and Project Builder: this can be used as information and integrated in documents
Tab Terms
Project conditions can be defined at the project’s properties, for example, it is possible to define an increase or decrease, as a rate or fixed amount. Several conditions can be created and considered for a project or as a default. In this version, users can decide whether the % discount or charge is based on the previous line, the previous subtotal or total amount.
- Catalogue configuration:
This button will allow the user to choose the catalogues you want to use in your project and set their price calculation. These adjustments apply to all alternatives in this project. The quotations in this project are adjusted to the settings the user has chosen.
To do so, in the project properties window, go to the tab Terms:
- Click Catalogue conf.
- The project price conditions window will open. Click Add.
- Choose the desired catalogue.
- The catalogue information window will open.
- Set the price calculation.
- Click OK Repeat steps 3-4-5 and 6 as many times as required.
- Once the user is done click OK in the Project price conditions window.
- A pop-up window will open, answer yes and all the user's catalogues price conditions will be applied to the user's projects
- Click on Save.
- Tab Messages
Users can enter the agreement number the user receives from the supplier and it will be printed on the order or is part of the EANCOM order.
Alternative properties
- The box Building project
Can be changed afterwards as long as it can either be a building project or a combined quotation. As soon as the quantity per design is higher than one, the checkbox cannot be unticked since it is a building project.
- The tab Conditions
Even if the user has already set conditions for a project, users can still choose to re-evaluate those conditions at the alternative level. Alternative conditions can be defined in alternative properties, for example, it is possible to define an increase or decrease, as a rate or fixed amount. In this version, as in the project level, users can decide whether the percentage discount or charge is based on the previous line, the previous subtotal or total amount.
- The tab Terms and messages
From this tab the user can set different condition values than those of the project. Simply untick the box and enter the new values in the corresponding fields.
Design properties
In the properties on the design level, the following settings are possible:
- Change name, milieu and quantity of designs.
Project list properties and settings
- When duplicating a project with a building project, it will copy all its alternatives, building project(s) and designs. Though the sales status, final projects and documents in the customer follow-up will not be copied.
- The column Sales type indicates if a project is a Building project.
- In the filter Current values, it is possible to set a filter for only building projects.
- Project numbering of final projects: Shows the main name project number from its parent project. This allows to filter on the main project number.
General information and settings
- As soon as an alternative contains more than one design, it gets a building project. If it contains only one design it will follow the regular project workflow.
- When deleting a final project this will reset the used designs of the respective building project. This is not possible anymore for final projects with the sales status Modified sales contract requested – must be reordered or higher, or as soon as the customer invoice has been generated.
- Deleted designs cannot be restored.
- Each design can use a different block, but only one block per design.
- Each design will have its own supplier orders.
- Alternative conditions can be hidden in the settings of the printing forms.
- The final projects are marked with a green folder icon.
- The number of designs in a building project is shown next to the name of the design.
- When selecting a building project alternative, the workflow assistant only proposes the relevant steps, for example, the logistic steps will not be shown.
- It is possible to use a different invoice address than the address indicated in the alternative.
- It is possible to copy a design into another project or another alternative.
- When changing the conditions of an alternative, this will automatically create a modified sales contract.
- It is possible to define a standard condition set on the customer or project level. This defined condition set will be used by default for new alternatives within this project.
