Backups can be created via the menu ‘Other Options' > 'Database’. To do so, you must be on the server. Winner Bizz offers you the possibility to create backups automatically and/or manually. Manual backups can be performed by clicking ‘Create a backup’. A simple ‘Save as…’ dialogue is opened. Define the desired directory, enter a filename and click ‘Save’ to start the backup process.
Automatic backups can be planned using the ‘Backup scheduler’:

2. To activate the backup schedule, tick the checkbox ‘Activate backup schedule’. You can choose between a one-time backup or recurring backups and set the respective frequency/time.
3. The ‘Backup clean-up’ section at the end offers you the possibility to keep a user-defined number of backups. Older backups will be deleted automatically.
Note: This function does not replace regular backups! Even if you set a backup schedule in Winner Bizz, the respective directory and the Winner Bizz directory should still be part of a regular backup that is not stored on the same hard drive.
By default, after Winner Bizz is installed, a backup of the Winner Bizz database will be created everyday into the sub-folder ‘Backup’ inside the COMPUSOFT folder. The last three backup files are kept. We recommend to review these settings together with your system administrator to make sure the most suitable solution for your company is setup.
